This week’s patent and design data has been compiled from the Official Patent and Design Journal, published by the patent office on February 25, 2022. A total of 1,143 patent applications were published in the 8th issue of the Patent Journal, 2022. Of the 1,143 applications published in the journal, 432 applications represent early publications while 711 applications represent ordinary publications or post-publications. 18 – month period. A total of 729 applications were awarded last week compared to 665 grants the week before last marking an increase of approximately 9.62%

The total entries from each of the previously mentioned cities are as follows – 25 entries from Delhi, 31 entries from Mumbai, 35 entries from Pune, 30 entries from Bangalore, 53 entries from Chennai, 24 entries from Hyderabad and 2 entries from Kolkata.
