INDIAN PATENT STATISTICS

A total of 1,287 patent applications were published in the 16th issue of the Patent Journal, 2022. Of the 1,287 applications published in the journal, 378 applications represent early publications while 909 applications represent ordinary publications or later publications. 18 – month period. A total of 420 applications were awarded last week compared to 369 grants the week before last marking an increase of around 13.82%

The total entries from each of the previously mentioned cities are as follows – 23 entries from Delhi, 33 entries from Mumbai, 32 entries from Pune, 29 entries from Bangalore, 53 entries from Chennai, 13 entries from Hyderabad and 9 entries from Kolkata.
