A total of 1,162 patent applications were published in the 11th issue of the Patent Journal, 2022. Of the 1,162 applications published in the journal, 264 applications represent early publications while 898 applications represent ordinary publications or later publications. 18 – month period. A total of 500 applications were granted last week compared to 590 granted the week before the last, thus marking a drop of approximately 15.25%

Of the total 1,162 patent applications published in the journal last week, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata contributed a total of 146 applications. The total entries from each of the previously mentioned cities are as follows – 15 entries from Delhi, 22 entries from Mumbai, 18 entries from Pune, 41 entries from Bangalore, 32 entries from Chennai, 16 entries from Hyderabad and 2 entries from Kolkata.
