Suburban Propane partners with David’s House to prepare snacks for families with children receiving treatment through Dartmouth Health Children’s Hospital

WHIPPANY, NJ, September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Suburban Propane Partners, LP ( New York stock market : SPH), a national distributor of propane, renewable propane, fuel oil and related products and services, as well as a natural gas and electricity distributor and investor in low-carbon alternative fuels, collaborated today today with David’s house, a non-profit organization that strives to provide a place to stay, healthy meals and support for families with children receiving treatment through Dartmouth Health Children’s in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Suburban Propane’s donation includes food and pantry items needed to create snacks that families can take with them when they visit their hospitalized children. Volunteers from local Suburban Propane Customer Service Centers were on hand to pack snacks and help David’s House staff pack goodie bags for their 23rd Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament.

About the House of David:
David’s House is the leading foster home that partners with Dartmouth Health Children’s (DHC) to help families access advanced pediatric care through the medical center’s 30 different pediatric specialties. David’s house accommodates these families, whether they need to stay in the area for one night or for several months. It should be noted that while we work with DHC as much as possible to ensure families’ food and shelter needs are met, we are a separate grassroots non-profit organization that does not receive support. direct funding from the hospital, nor from state or federal sources.

Since serving our first clients in 1986, the House of David has been open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing care and support to more than 16,000 unique families around the world.
