“Brent’s experience with machine vision, sensor fusion and AI in general is a huge differentiator in my opinion,” said Steven Snyder, chief technologist at Stout. “He is really up to date with the latest developments and has great relationships with industry leaders who could become strategic partners for us.”
“Brent’s background in autonomy and artificial intelligence makes him the ideal leader to drive Stout Industrial Technology forward. His passion for using technology to improve sustainability, productivity and working conditions in labor-intensive businesses aligns perfectly with the solutions we are developing for growers,” said Jeff Antle, Director of Products at Stout.
“I’m thrilled to work with this team and incredibly impressed with what they’ve accomplished,” Shedd said. “Together, we will fundamentally change the dynamics of agriculture.”
