BREST OBLAST, Oct. 21 (BelTA) — Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is expected to get acquainted with domestic developments at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training area military-industrial complex in Brest Oblast on October 21, BelTA learned.
The head of state will see unmanned aerial vehicles and other weapons, military and special-purpose equipment of the armed forces and developed by national military industrial organizations.




Alexander Lukashenko will also get acquainted with the combat capabilities of weapons, military and special-purpose equipment: the combat use of drones, the use of the multi-level automated control system of the battalion tactical group.
Alexander Lukashenko announced his intention to study the subject and the latest military industrial developments of domestic scientists and designers during the meeting with the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov on October 18. “Our drones are a very relevant subject, and we will talk about it on Friday. How do you compete in this field with applied science and companies developing new drones? This is a very important area, bearing in mind the lessons of the war in Ukraine,” the Head of State said.
