INDIAN PATENT STATISTICS

A total of 1,144 patent applications were published in the 3rd issue of the Patent Journal, 2022. Of the 1,144 applications published in the journal, 358 applications represent early publications while 786 applications represent ordinary publications or post-publications. 18 – month period. A total of 443 applications were awarded last week compared to 482 grants the week before last marking a drop of around 8.09%

Of the total 1,144 patent applications published in the journal last week, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata contributed a total of 194 applications. The total entries from each of the previously mentioned cities are as follows – 25 entries from Delhi, 34 entries from Mumbai, 26 entries from Pune, 15 entries from Bangalore, 58 entries from Chennai, 19 entries from Hyderabad and 17 entries from Kolkata.
