For those who wish to continue their studies in industrial design, you have nine days left to apply for the next wave of Advanced Design Offsite Program. Conducted online, the summer session is divided into two cohorts, depending on your level of experience:

Cohort 01 is a 12-week, five-course program focused on building the foundational skills to break into the field of industrial design, held over the summer of 2021. Students will acquire the technical skills necessary to begin sketching , to build 3D objects and to carry out rapid prototyping. test and validate their ideas; alongside the general skills of form development, the design process and the history of industrial design. Cohort 01 is for anyone looking to turn to industrial design, whether you have a high school diploma or are a seasoned professional looking to change careers.

Cohort 02 is an intensive 12 week program focused on reframing what design teaching can be. Offsite aims to prepare newly graduated students and young professionals for real-world design work with the help of 7 industry leaders and an exclusive mentoring program. The 12-week program aims to teach students skills related to: design within the company, design speech, sketch to communicate, product visualization, professional self-presentation, and design for the making. Students who have completed the 12 weeks of instruction will be ready to embark on their next career change, whether it’s a first internship or a future job.
